March 4, 201610 yr All kidding aside I get what you are saying, but I've never really encountered a problem like that at baseball games. Mainly just guys yelling who have no idea what they are talking about. That's a good one Hammer but my slippers are black and I have more hair!! About encountering idiots, guess you're lucky or I'm just unlucky. I have and I don't hold my tongue real well. That's why I quit going to GABP that much now. I'm at the age where I can't "back it up" as well as I used to. :lol2: Edited March 4, 201610 yr by OlDog75
March 4, 201610 yr A co worker and I will take half days to go to those midweek afternoon games. Usually can get a front few rows sun/moon deck ticket off Stubhub for $10 Never see Row A on Stubhub in the sun/moon deck, lots of Row B.
March 5, 201610 yr Maybe GABP needs a section for die hard baseball fans???? One where fans watch the game and debate changes made etc. No cell phones.
March 5, 201610 yr I pay the $7-$10 minimum to get in and watch the game from various vantage points as well and walk around, after the 6th, ushers usually let you sit where you want if you want to sit. Hate being tied down to sitting because of the price of tickets,as well as not being able to control who sits behind you or in front of you, which in most instances is up and down kids or people that have had a few too many to drink. There's too much to take in at a ball park to just plant yourself for 3 hours I'm gonna get crucified for this but here goes. More places in a BASEBALL stadium to get lubed up? Just want I want to experience, even more idiots who can't handle their adult bevs to deal with while I'm trying to enjoy a BASEBALL game. If you want a social suds club, go to the bar and watch it on TV and you can F-bomb yourselves silly. OK, had my say and am ready for you kids to hammer me, I opened the door. Look at it this way: You shouldn't have to worry about those problems too much this year.

March 5, 201610 yr That damn howling like wolves. Yeah, pretty annoying even on TV. I don't get the purpose of it.
March 5, 201610 yr Look at it this way: You shouldn't have to worry about those problems too much this year. I don't know Jim, sounds like quite a few just go to the stadium for a "social gathering". "What, there's a baseball game?"
March 6, 201610 yr All kidding aside I get what you are saying, but I've never really encountered a problem like that at baseball games. Mainly just guys yelling who have no idea what they are talking about. Doubly true when the Cubs visit. Really though, I don't think people going to these amenities are the problem population. It's probably the guys pounding light beer in the upper deck.

March 7, 201610 yr @OlDog75, I will get behind you on this, but only because it's bad for my business haha! Sorry MJ, I thought about you after I posted that. To me, to get a cold beer from the "beer guy" on a hot day at your seat is GREAT! I can't drink beer like I used to, but to this day if I go to a game, I have to buy at least one beer and a dog. Also, to me you're just as part of the game as the product on the field.

Thanks @OlDog75, it is much appreciated! I even enjoy selling soda/water to our non beer drinkers, and who doesn't like some peanuts haha!
March 9, 201610 yr I think you're all forgetting the real reason people go to baseball games or anywhere really... The Instagram/Snapchat/Facebook picture trifecta.
