Getting rid of Coach Steiner won't help anything.

I agree but you can't lose 5 or 6 kids and expect to win every game. SK would have been a different team if they had Racke, Walker, Kincaid, Carter, Harney and Williams. I think some where dealing with injuries though.

I've said it over and over again. Collins didn't have as much talent as we're used to this year. And didn't have a great regular season. But coach Gaither always has them playing their best at the end of the season.

Jakson Test led the Titans with 15 points. Grant Clarkson had 14 and Dominique Turner had 11.

Coach Holland loves Turner.

No other way to say it other than it's a bad loss for SK.23-7 after 1.

Once Collins started pressing man-to-man in the 2nd half the game changed. SK is a really long high school team but they're not quick nor strong with the ball. I really like the Fries kid. Needs more touches on the block.

I thought one huge momentum swing was with about a minute left and SK up 14 the big for SK (name escapes me) caught it under the basket and tried to go up and dunk it. He's not explosive enough though and missed it. Collins takes it down and hits a 3 going into the half down 11 instead of potentially 16.

As talented as SK is, the lack of a true point guard handicaps this team more than people sometimes realize. It was markedly on display tonight, in a game where SK played hard, executed a good game plan, and shot the ball well (very good outside shooting!).

Big play came late when a made SK three was wiped off by an illegal screen call. Without that call, the Pioneers probably win the game.

Hawkins will be a really good point guard. This is his first year starting and he didn't play at all last year he is still learning the ropes. He will be fine next year after a season under his belt. Kitchens is also a good point guard to come off the bench.

If Colton Williams and Racke play next year it will be a very tough team. Colton played several varsity games as a Freshman last year.

I think you have a good point....both showed potential tonight, but neither appears comfortable in that role yet.

From what I have heard, Racke would have been the best player this year had he played. That makes it tough when your best player decides not to play. Was him not playing for football reasons? With SK being the largest school in the 8th region you would think that at some point they would win the 8th but that has yet to happen.

Kelch. SK's big is Zac Kelch. Nice player, but yes I agree, to improve his game beyond his current, he needs to work really hard on foot speed/explosiveness. As only a soph, he has opportunity.

Only a sophomore? Nice days ahead as he matures physically.

He spent all day Tuesday throwing up with a stomache bug. Usually would get that dunk with ease. Still can use some work on foot speed and strength though.

Workouts start next week with Legacy Training.

Good to hear. Kid is going to be hard to deal with as he gets stronger.
