Has anyone brought up the old belted shorts look of the late 70s/early 80s? And I believe the home unis were white shirt, blue shorts .... with a belt! Anyone got pictures of those?

Who will be expected to carry the scoring load for Highlands next season? I am hoping for a really big year from LaFrange and I assume Posey as well.

They tried to play man to man and force NCC to have to put the ball on the floor to get shots off and they simply were shooting the ball extremely well early.

I would agree with this. My point is, how do they determine whose leg it is when there are a few of them in close proximity?

You listed them. A lot of teams shoot well against average defenses. NCC has trouble when they do NOT shoot well from the outside. CCH coaching staff seems to always have a solid D game plan against NCC. NCC just never gets over the hump despite their talent level.

 

Plan B seems to be a challenge for them.

I agree. #5 though is HUGE. Even when they do not play CovCath, or focused on the post more under Grant, they have had trouble shooting at BB&T (aka BOK). Eventually that curse has to be broken.

What is the reason that NCC really has not ever played well at BB&T? Is it he size of the floor and team tend to spread them out? When you spread them out you take away the threat of Weyer blocking as much. Is it depth of bench? CCH seem to always have a bench of about 10 kids that they can rotate in and out. NCC not so much which on the bigger floor wears them down.

 

Cylde: you mentioned if they don't shoot well from the outside, do they have an inside game to follow it up with? No true bigman like they had in McDonald last year to feed the ball into.

What you're doing is exactly why I'm glad the season is over. Maximum effort, really? Did they go out there and just stand around and do nothing? No, they played hard and lost. Look at the Louisville Cardinals, what do they have to play for? Nothing, but they're still going out there and getting up and down the court.
