What do you want to know and I will see if I can fill in the blanks.

Well I tend to follow individual players so LaFrange, Dougherty, Kendall, New & Cain. How did they fare? I saw points for Hebel and Finfrock in an earlier post and that was all.

Its getting harder and harder to get game info on this sight. When I am counting on the Enquirer it is a problem.:ohbrother:

This is exactly why I have quit posting anything on this site. Care to tell us who was dismissed or quit Highlands team?

I've already spoken with a Highlands poster today and got it cleared up.

I said this on the game thread last night and thought I would post my comment here since I didn't get a chance to post again because I was catching up with guys and forgot. I made the comment that I couldn't believe NCCs best player was still in being they were up 30. When I made that comment I just walked in to see the next game and noticed the game before still going. I just couldn't believe with them being up by that score he was still in stroking 3 pointers. Makes no sense why teams like this keep their studs in other than to pad his stats. I worry for kids like this because the game seemed to get a little physical at that time and he takes chances of getting hurt. Absolutely would have hated to see that.

My next comment was that he didn't play defense. Yes blocks are defense but if you notice he lives in on the inside and doesn't tend to guard anyone outside 10/12 feet. If I was 6'7 with probably close to a 6'10 wingspan I would hope I was getting blocks left and right from guys much smaller than me. When he gets to the next level I doubt he will be living inside the entire time to be able to get those blocks.

Don't get me wrong, he is a very good player and probably the top or one of the top players in 9th Region this year. I'm just throwing out my opinions on what I've seen of him play this season.

Also Neff and Iles from NCC

Neff had a couple of baskets that I remember. Either 4 or 6 points. Iles I do not remember scoring, but he did play late in the game.

LaFrange had one 3 I can remember and maybe one other basket. Kendall did not score. New had I think one basket and 2 or 3 free throws. Cain probably had 3 or 4 baskets. Dougherty hit a 3 in the first half despite being very limited. After the game he said that his thumb was not where it was supposed to be, but to his credit he gutted it out knowing that it could be the last time that he played competitive basketball though I hear the intramural leagues at Lindsey Wilson are quite competitive.

The problem is that you put false information out there already for everyone to see.

I get the sense that highlands wearing blue on white is a desperate attempt to throw off and confuse the breds on offense. They shouldn't be able to wear the primary color of the team they play, seems a little ridiculous

Surely this is in jest.

The problem is that you put false information out there already for everyone to see.

Except it wasn't false. I know what I know and you know what you know.

It was false information. If you know so much then tell me who was kicked off the team. You said a Highlands person cleared it up? Who was that and what did they clear up for you?

You already posted a falsehood so be brave and post the young mans name that was kicked off the team. Just make sure when you do that you are also willing to apologize for putting false information on this site which as I remember is against the rules.

Except it wasn't false. I know what I know and you know what you know.

If you post that someone was dismissed and then say you verified it and that it's true you need to state the player's name.

Thank you. We are talking about high school kids here and nonsense like this can not be tolerated unless it is 100% accurate information.

Surely this is in jest.

Not at all. If you have ever played the game, you know peripheral vision is a big deal. But seeing white out of your peripherals in all directions would throw me off

OK my take on this is this. I specifically heard that a Highlands player was suspended from the team and it was repeated a few times during the Newport/Bellevue game. Obviously, this was not true but their are those that will say well I know it was true and that so and so from Highlands said this or so and so from NCC said he was not supposed to play and he did.....on and on. My thought is it could be dropped at this point since although verified it was bad information that was verified. Just my take on the subject.......:ylsuper:
