What about Letcher County Central over Knott County Central in the 53rd District?

 

That has to be in the mix. LCC lost to KCC by 19, 19 and 25 during the regular season; won this one by 20.

 

And Jenkins has a legitimate shot to win the 53rd. Playing at Jenkins (for those who take stock in this) and beat LCC twice, by 20 and by 12, in the regular season.

KHSAA site shows Knott Central as the winner. So no upset there.

Bryan Station defeating Scott County has to be one of the biggest thus far!

I'm not sure Collins over Shelby County was that big of an upset, if an upset at all. They split during the regular season. I realize Shelby County had a better overall record but those can be deceiving sometimes as well.

Sometimes certain players or teams are built up with all of the familia support on this site but when you get to watch in person they seem to be more of a paper tiger.

Not saying this was the case for Shelby County though.
