When your siblings attend Newport schools and your brother recently graduates from Newport High School it raises a few red flags in my book.

Since Southgate does not have a high school, their kids can attend Newport, Campbell County, Highlands, or the parochial school of their choice. So whats the big deal if he goes to Highlands.

We were doing well until q11 threw in the word transfer. He's always doing that kind of stuff:D

I understand Southgate doesn't have a high school it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. From my understanding he is the same age as my nephew and has played knothole baseball with him since they were in t-ball. My nephew will be a sophomore at Newport and he is in the correct grade. I have more info on the situation with the Alfords but it wouldn't be appropriate to post publicly on here.

I know that he will be able to play thru his senior year. He will not be to old to play. I heard that he has a Nov. birthday. It's not like he's playing illegal or something.

No but here we go again. Some people or person trying to dig it up and get it going. Like someone said before, thought this was about the game and not whether you lost a player to a "ahhh" different program. Yeah that's it "different". Just let it go. Easier said than done though for some.

Back to the game.... what was the percentage of throw/run for the Birds?

HHS Frosh looked strong. Should be another great season for the "Baby Birds"
