February 22, 201610 yr Great experience! I got in a bind and needed a ride quick. I downloaded the app, put my info in, and requested a ride. The whole process took under 15 minutes, less than ten minutes for my Uber driver/ride to show up. I got Nate, he lives in Milford but works full time in Erlanger. He was a fantastic representative of Uber. He was driving a nice Camry, it was clean, he was professional and very well spoken, most of all he gets it. Again, just a great experience. Most of all the ride was super cheap and yes I tipped him well. Anyone that hasn't used Uber should definitely consider it and Government Regulation of Uber needs to stay at a minimum. Anyone else with an experience?
February 22, 201610 yr I've used it many times and in multiple cities. Only one trip in Nashville would I call anything less than exemplary. Great service and they do a nice job keeping on top of things.

Only issues I have had was at the All Star game, there were cars around but none accepted my fare, I'm assuming it was because of my drop off location since I'm a 5 star rating. I did get an "English challenged" driver one time in this area. Used to drive a cab. Shocker! Talking to Uber drivers in NY this past week. Medallions have gone down from $1MM to around $400K each for cabbies. Uber is putting a hurt on the cabs. Yellow cab now has an app similar to Uber in NYC.

The competition is great, I just hope the Government doesn't mess Uber up with regulations. I understand the Feds have already stepped in if Uber tries to pick up at the Airport.

February 22, 201610 yr Author One thing I learned was you pay with your credit card (but Uber takes care of that) but you tip with Cash so make sure you have some Cash on hand.

My Dad made the mistake of asking a cabbie about Uber in San Fran. Scariest ride of my life going down those hills. That guy's foot got heavier on the gas as his rage rose describing graphic ways that he wanted to kill Uber drivers. I about kissed the ground when we got out of the cab. Needless to say, Uber is killing them and they hate them for it.
