Third time seeing both teams for me, and I believe the 2nd Brossart OT game.

Brossart and Holy Cross are FANTASTIC home teams, but both are beatable on the road.

 

Very solid, and hard fought, win for the Eagles.

 

Pretty broad statement in reference to the Mustangs who have only played 4 home games this season, winning them all. We have won a total of 17 games this season, going 13-6 on the road or at a neutral site.

Wins over Newport (when they were formidable early), Campbell County, and Paris outside of the friendly confines not shabby.

 

We don't profess to be an overpoweringly strong championship caliber ballclub, expected to run the table. We are the true definition of a team, and the sum of our parts need to be functioning well and together in order for us to be successful. We have taken some hits - 2 of those losses in overtime, and in two others on the road (or neutral) have held our opponents under 40 points.

 

Beatable??? Certainly. On any given night by a quality opponent, but I don't think that we are any more or less vulnerable than anyone else while on the road, and actually play better away from home than most.

Mustang, relax please. Was a compliment, both you and HC are incredible at home. Still a fine team on the road, but not the same team as the one that suits up in Alexandria. Was more of a statement about how difficult it is to get a win at the Finn and at BB.

So with the drawing on Wednesday this gives Scott, Campbell, Brossart all a 33% chance to get the one seed? Can't wait to see who gets lucky.

Just sayin' we've only played four home games and have been contentious on the road. I'm assuming you are citing long-term past results.

So with the drawing on Wednesday this gives Scott, Campbell, Brossart all a 33% chance to get the one seed? Can't wait to see who gets lucky.

Basically the 37th becomes a blind draw with the exception that there is no possibility for Calvary and Silver Grove to draw together in an opposite bracket.

 

I wonder if we could go to the F&N Steak House, have a few drinks, eat some eggplant and have dinner at the district's expense prior to drawing the pills, like in the old days.

They are simply being realistic.

 

What advantage would it be for Silver Grove to take serious beatings from Brossart, Scott, and Campbell County only to end up right where they are going to be on February 22nd?

 

To Calvary's credit they did play Brossart this year - a 62-20 loss.

With Brossart graduating seven seniors, and Coach Neisis having a full year to work with his team at Calvary, I expect that the Cougars will narrow that gap next year.

Well yes. Not forfeit. But if I'm correct, Brossart is the only team in the 37th who has played Calvery (besides the Grove). Didn't they forfeit matched with Scott and Campbell? Yes, Brossart will struggle with finding guys to replace all the seniors leaving next year. Although, that is my opinion.

Coaches from St Pat, Moco, Augusta, etc. please do your due diligence and take a long look at Jackson Crawford for POY or All Region. You're smart coaches so it won't be too hard. Another huge night for Jaxxon Crawford. 29 points. Rebounds, a true team leader.

 

Brossart, CCH, and NCC play the best defense in the State.

 

Joey Hickman is asked to do an awful lot and does a great job on whomever he is guarding. key player.

 

 

I like the 9th and 10th region winners to win at least the first game down state.
