Sounds like a loaded WR core. A lot of experience in the backfield. @THUNDERBIRDS I love Grady's game at Qb.

Can't wait for the season! Go Birds!

Kind of my point....With the Experience they bring back at WR and in the Backfield a Soph QB as in a Grady Kramer would fit the Critiria needed to Compete. Only Senior to be Brady Gosney has a 1 game Start experience over any of the other Candidates. Why not start young and build your future around Kramer. I will repeat myself....Highlands will not go any further or less with any of the QB's on hand next year. It won't matter who they strart at QB. Same could of been said for 2015 in Ft Thomas....I.E. Covington Catholic. Maher will be a Freak by the time he leaves Park Hills.

I have never seen the word "rising" used in a story as much as that article. Started getting really irritated with it but hey that is just my pet peeve.

Overuse of "rising" jumped out at me, too. All programs and athletes are "on the rise" during the off-season. Speaking of cliches, let's add "will be just fine" to the irritation list. That one is my pet peeve. Nobody knows if the team "will be just fine" until the lads "strap on the war bonnets."

Anybody have their schedule?

Zero chance I'd EVER say ANYTHING about a field as ANY SORT of explanation for my previous season. Wouldn't even reply to the posed question/theory.

Even if it's true.

I wouldn't make an excuse or anything either. But, you are saying skipping spring ball and not having access to facilities for the majority of the off-season would have no effect? Especially with one of the most inexperienced teams returning? I don't know what you know about Highlands, but that is their is their bread and butter. The next year's season usually starts after the state championship game. And after a lackluster year they will be hitting it hard, if Weinrich hasn't changed.

1. I have been around the block a few times so, yes, I am familiar with Highlands.

2. Did you miss the "even if it's true" comment?

Geez, sounds like you have a lot of first world problems. The word rising to not confuse you on whether the kid will be a senior or if he is a senior right now. After that the writer was probably trying to be consistent.

I didn't really know what you were talking about with "even if it's true" were you talking about access to facilities or if W said that?

Anybody have their schedule?

I think it's about the same as last year?

His point could be 100% correct.

Wait no mention of Soph to be QB Grady Kramer. He would get some consideration if I was the Head Coach. They would get the same results in 2016 with him at QB than rather the next QB in line because he is a Senior or has Seniority. Just my 2 Cents!

Totally agree, I read the 3 listed QB's and thought to myself where is "rising" Soph to be Grady Cramer. The kid has grown to about 6' with more to come and showed tremendous moxy this past freshman year. He has a GUN for an arm and poise in the pocket. I'd consider moving Gosney to LB and Johnston to the line. With the 2 Sr RB's likely to get a huge portion of carries it would be a good year to cut your teeth with a Soph. JMO

2nd year of a 2 year contract all of those should be right.

It was used with more than just seniors. And I was voicing an opinion. Was a poorly written article. I have plenty of third world problems in my life if that makes you feel better.

I assume all sports have access to the new fieldhouse, correct? I recall seeing pictures in another thread - awesome facility!

Was the article poorly written or were the comments from the coach poorly worded.
