Republican consultant Rick Wilson denigrated supporters of Donald Trump on Tuesday, painting them as anti-Semitic lacking ambition, Crooks and Liars reported.

“The fact of the matter is, most of them are childless single men who masturbate to anime,” Wilson told MSNBC host Chris Hayes. “They’re not real political players. These are not people who matter in the overall course of humanity.”

I'm not really sure what this article or thread is getting at. Is the purpose to draw light to the GOP consultant suggesting that single, childless men who watch anime porn are less valuable than those who chose a different lifestyle? Is it an attempt to chastise Trump supporters?

The party is in a sad state but it has only itself to blame for becoming a dysfunctional cannibalistic mess. I never thought I'd hear conservatives say they may vote for Hillary, but it's happening everyday.

Science I do not doubt you when you say you have heard conservatives going to cross over. Where did you hear this? Most of my friends that are dems have all said except one that they will vote for whatever Republican is nominated over either Dem.

I have also heard many of my dem colleagues say they would vote for Bernie way before hilldawg.

Thats my point, Hillary has some major major issues. Alot of Dems dont like her. You are going to see a huge crossover vote if she is the Dem nominee. Watch and see.

Also, Science, you refer to the GOP as a dysfunctional family. I'm guessing because there are so many different candidates with a variety of differing opinions. Isn't that better for the democratic process than having one or 2 candidates that have fundamentally similar belief systems, and are pretty much the same candidate? If I'm a dem, it would be frustrating, to say the least, that my only two options were between hilldawg and Bernie.

The GOP will straighten itself out when the time comes, and the candidate that is chosen to represent the GOP will have faced countless opposition and be battle tested. On the other end of the spectrum, hilldawg is currently fighting to stay out of prison, and Bernie is trying to bring socialism to the US. Again, you can try to act like the GOP is in a worse position than the dems, but I strongly disagree. But, I guess you had already figured that.

Some at school in my circle and also some have said as much on "the shows." PJ O'Rourke said it publicly. Cokie Roberts wrote about a well-known(but unnamed) conservative who said without hesitation he would have to vote for Hillary. Also, do you really think R's like Jeb Bush and Lindsey Graham will vote for Trump? Never, ever, EVER! She will get a lot of Republican votes. That's why I don't think it will be very close at all.

Do you like @Twotoplace ignore the poll which recently said as many as 20% of dems will cross over and vote Republican and that means Trump too?
