Rez Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Pulaski shot it well and did a good job of getting to the basket. Powell and Hall both played well. Montgomery didn't shoot it well, and didn't play well enough on defense to claw back in. Pulaski led by 1 after 1, 6 at the half and I think 10 after 3. They hit shots, 2 3s and a 2, at the end of each of the first 3 quarters.
PurplePride92 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I heard Pulaski County looked good today. Good win, Maroons!!! The 12th is brutal.

systemqb Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 It'll be interesting to see this team's growth over the next month. It's understandable for them to be up and down over the next week or so trying to integrate the Saterfields into the game. They may be a team you don't want to see in the regional tournament.
systemqb Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Saterfields already gone!!!! Did this happen after the Lincoln or Southwestern game?
charliefleet Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Pulaski played well. MoCo not so much. Foul count 6-1 to start the third with MoCo with 6. Trend continued. Good win for maroons.
HoopDreamsCoachQ Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Jerryd Jones started the game 3 for 3 from the field including a nice alley oop on the opening play of the game. Didn't touch the ball again for a while after that. I really like Caswell Fuller. Crafty and smart. Got a layup and then stole the inbounds for another one early. Think him being in foul trouble handicapped Montgomery.

He typically stays out of foul trouble, so it's unfortunate when he does have to sit with foul trouble. Agree on Jones as well. Scored at will to start the game, but didn't get enough touches after that.
TexasRanger Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 ^^^^^^ This is a disturbing trend at times. Jones is crafty around the key and has scored at a high efficiency in many games. He clearly needs more touches. If there's a bigger impact transfer in the 10th region please let me know who it is so I can go watch him.

I've seen him play 3 times and follow him due to him being in the GRC program for 2-years. I agree as well the kid needs more touches. He can score at many areas not just 1.
Gunslinger Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 So what actually happened with the Satterfields? Where did they go????
