Awesome one hit wonder. Saw Clapton a few years ago and Carrack was in his band. They covered this and Clapton put the guitar solo in it that should have been.

 

I saw him perform this on a variety show. First time I'd seen or heard of him. I told the wife that he was gonna be a star.

 

Like his music or not, the magic 8-ball was correct that day.

Benjamin Orr of The Cars had a little solo career, not with us any more. I still have this cassette.

 

My Rolling Stone record guide calls David Bryon something like "the most annoying/strident frontman in history". I liked them in the day, though.
