I always thought this song was just such a cool song to just roll back the top on the convertible, crank up the sound system, let the wind do its thing with your hair, and just cruise on down the road.

 

I'm just curious if anyone remembers this one. I always loved it. Reminds me of some great times. I rarely hear it on the radio anymore.

 

If you can think of some other "lost treasures, " especially from the 70's and 80's, that were great cruising around tunes, feel free to share. I listen to the '70's and '80's stations all the time, but even on those stations there are some great old songs that rarely get played anymore. Anyone remember driving cruising around to this one?

These guys were a bit of a CSN ripoff, but I always like this one from my high school days.

 

I love, love, love , my '70s music, all the great fun in the sun, sand, and surf. Great times. Two tunes from back then. One you probably remember right off and one you may have forgotten. Both are great old summer songs and both recorded by Jay Ferguson. First, one you may have forgotten:

 

I've said it before, but it bears repeating. The most influential song in my life.

 

I always loved the line :
