January 13, 201610 yr I agree, I am just pointing out that I don't think any of the coaches had two years deals. You mention you wouldn't take it unless it is a 3 year deal, and that really doesn't matter. You can sign a 5 year deal, and that doesn't me your job is secure as these last few Browns coaches have found out. You're right and although none of my business, I was surprised to learn that Rob Chudzinski got a 4 year deal with the Browns' option for a 5th and Pettine's was a straight 4 year deal...Chud got paid 10.5 million for the buyout on his, not sure about Pettine. I personally liked both of them, but Pettine a little more. He was willing to stand up to ownership and the GM regarding Manziel which I guess ultimately was his undoing. Supposedly Chud lost control of the locker room or so I heard?
January 13, 201610 yr If I'm a Browns fan, I trade the farm for RG3. Their only hope is to try the old run n shoot like he did in college or go the complete opposite and bring back the Kevin Mack offense- old school. Two tights and a full back. They need to have a 'go to' and they just lack identity.
