I wish I could say this was an actual M 5.1 ‪#‎earthquake‬ but it was a massive hydrogen bomb test that North Korea just conducted. Scary times friends.‪#‎NorthKorea‬ ‪#‎HydrigenBomb‬ ‪#‎Nuclear

:eek::eek::eek:

Very shallow 5.3 with testing site in epicenter.

They have been quiet for a while. Not too worried. Keep on testing, draw more attention.....

Such a scary country. Anyone watch the newest documentary about North Korea on Netflix?

Only 6 kt. So only A-bomb size unless it was the worlds smallest H-bomb by far.

He's pining for another Rodman visit....but this time with Jenna Jameson!

Curious as to how China feels about said "test." Considering it was reported they did it relatively close to one of their own nuclear plants.

Seems to be an underground a-bomb test.

Good article here:

Why North Korea?s nuclear test probably wasn?t a hydrogen bomb - Quartz

The say it looks like similar yield of 10 kt as in 2013.

So what could NK destroy with a 10 kt bomb?

Not much.

Here is a fun website to show the impact of different yields. They even have the 2013 NK in the pre-defined parameters.

Does not even reach New Circle Road in Lexington if it goes off downtown.

For fun. Here is what the largest tested bomb would do. The Tsar bomb at 50 MT.

Ouch.

That's getting too close to home for me.

Wake me up when NK wants to get blown off the map, I like our rockets a tad better than the coyotes.
