An NFL body already????

As far as future.....he has to be realistic and figure out if he has a better chance playing after college in Football or Basketball.

It sounds like fballstud is the one that needs to be realistic. What has Austin even done at the highschool level in football?

The top three are set in stone because they have all been offered basketball scholorships recently.

Has Kane Belcher been offered? I have not had the opportunity to see him play live. He must be a fantastic player!

Arrez and Nic's turn is still to come. They will have two years to prove themselves. Arrez is finishing the year with the Kentucky Shining Star Sports team. I am looking forward to getting an extended look at him. He played with us in Indianapolis a couple of weeks ago and played very well.

I would love to see all of these gentlemen get the opportunity to play college basketball. They are all fantastic athletes and most are fantastic people.

Belcher isn't very flashy, but he gets the job done. Great fundamentally, and knows how to draw fouls very well.

Who has offered these kids?

As far as I know, Hill is getting interest from a bevy of mid-D-1 schools.

From what I have heard he has offers from Bowling Green and Winthrop, to name a few..

Akron is very interested.

His play has skyrocketed over the summer and many more teams are monitoring him.

Please clue me in on what schools have offered Mike Hester a scholarship at this point? Forget offered, give me an idea of what schools are interested in Mike Hester for playing college basketball?

If Mike Hester is the 3rd best College Basketball prospect in No. KY I'm a Monkey's Uncle (and my brothers don't have any kids). :D

I don't mean to appear to be negative towards Mike, I just don't think he is as attractive to College Coaches as this thread is indicating. If I'm wrong, as shocked as I'll be, I'll happily eat my crow and have no problem admitting it.

I'm FAR more inclined to go with NKYBoy's list, and I would rank Duran ahead of Hester -- even with Duran already "verballing" a football scholly.

I know that he is playing football, but I can't put Lenhof ahead of Duran. I think that Brandon is more of a shooting guard and I don't know if he is big enough to play it in college, while Duran is a natural point guard and is the same size.

I'm sorry but there is no way Duran Jefferson isn't better than the majority of that list...He is atleast top 5. He's one of the top 2 point guards in nky so how could he be 10 when he has been receiving letters from UNC, Illinois, Texas Tech, Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, and Indiana just to name a few. To be honest, DJ has been getting more looks from BIG D1 colleges than anyone else in nky. And I know this for a fact.

You sound like someone who knows nothing about basketball or someone who really doesnt like Mike. From the info I have been getting SK is getting calls left and right about him. He's got an offer from Georgetown I believe and some D-1 schoool's such as Evansville and Ohio University have shown interest. He is the best point guard in NKy and an absolute stud of an athlete. You should learn a few things about basketball before coming on here and making obsurd comments like that.

As budman put it Austin, Zach and Mike are set in stone.

Sorry that you take fair questions in such a way. Obviously, you are too close to the situation to discuss it calmly. Mike Hester is a nice young player, but he is dramatically under-sized. He is not better than Duran Jefferson. I'll try and pick up a few things about basketball before daring to try and have a conversation with you again. Thanks for the calm and mature resopnse. I'm fairly sure my track record on "knowing something about basketball" on here speaks for itself. If he goes to a D-1 school on a basketball scholarship I'll buy you and yours dinner at any restaurant you'd like.

Yeah, I like how you change your statement from just getting interests to now going D-1. Eat your crow the way you said you would. And as for Duran being better, Duran's taller and that's it. Mike is right there with Duran as far as talent goes and is a better scorer than Duran. Plus you know what kind of teammate you're getting with Mike unlike Duran. And i'll be the judge of your credibilty to me on this site. This is the only post I have seen you make and you should be embarrased.

Wow, such hostility. I'm not backing up at all. I asked in the first post who had offered, right? You listed two D-1 schools. I made my dinner offer, as I know that is pie-in-the-sky. You can be the judge of whatever you'd like. Further, I can promise you, my "opinion" on this topic does not leave me defensive nor embarrassed.

We'll agree to disagree, and a year from now we can revisit this topic. I'm not anti-Hester by any means, I hope he gets a chance to get a college education on the heels of his abilities. I don't think he is the 3rd best prospect, but again, we shall see. If you'd take Hester over Jefferson, then have at it. If you'd take Hester over Jacobs, that's your prerogative too.

And no I dont have any close ties to Mike, I just love the kids game and respect him as a player. And I fount it to be pretty disrespectful of you to make a post about a kid the way you did. " If he's getting college interest than im a monkeys uncle" that's why you should be embarrased and eat your crow!
