Rubio and his ex brother-in-law

Featured Replies

How Rubio helped his ex-con brother-in-law acquire a real estate license.

When Marco Rubio was majority whip of the Florida House of Representatives, he used his official position to urge state regulators to grant a real estate license to his brother-in-law, a convicted cocaine trafficker who had been released from prison 20 months earlier, according to records obtained by The Washington Post.

I agree. Everybody deserves a second chance. If you have some clout you should try to help get them on straight and narrow.

I'm struggling to see the issue here...

Issue is the dems are starting to worry about Rubio.

Wasn't Bill Clinton's brother an ex-con...and didn't Bill Clinton pardon said brother?

Dem leadership has been worried, with good reason, about Rubio for months. They know how it is going to go down once the voting starts.

Bill Clinton also accepted campaign money from Jorge Cabrera. At the time Cabrera had already been arrested twice on drug charges and used political connections to plea down for lesser charges, and at the time of his donation to Clinton he was under investigation for cocaine trafficking. He was arrested shortly after with 3 TONS of cocaine in his possession and went to the clink for 19 years.

Helped someone get a real estate license ... While the candidate that the OP supports is under FBI investigation .. let that sink in .

Personally, I agree that people should get a second chance. I believe that the article was getting at how he did not tell of his relationship to the guy. Against the law? No! Should he have mentioned that the guy was his in-law? I don't know. IMHO, Unless someone from the Florida board of realtors or someone close to that in Florida has an issue, then I don't think it should be an issue.

Agreed. Unless there is something else here, I don't see this as an issue.

Hasn't Rubio been stuck at 10 percent in the polls for several weeks now? Let us know when his campaign starts resonating with voters.

When we move from polls to voting, you'll know.
