December 24, 201510 yr ...I recently visited my son and his family. They make me look like Mussolini. To wit, A. Seriously considering taking in a Syrian refugee family. Plenty of room in their basement. No worries at all that their under 2 year-old daughter is there. 2. I got a kick out of one of the books on my granddaughter's bookshelf. "A is for activist". An interesting alphabet book for youngsters. C is for, among other things, corporate vultures, W is for workers rights and T is for trans. D. Don't get 'em started on persecuting an entire religion. Pretty sure I heard the term "goose-stepping jack-booted thugs" more than once. Always refreshing to visit (they live in Idaho so the opportunities are rare) and get a dose of real liberalism. Makes most of the resident BGP lefties, myself included, seem a bit on the tame side.
December 24, 201510 yr Author Do they Feel the Bern or are they more of a HRC Family? Neither is nearly liberal enough. Write-in.

December 24, 201510 yr Lots of 'em out there. Just not that many in Idaho.:lol2: I thought Idaho was the land of the very far right neo-cons. :lol2:
December 24, 201510 yr Author I though Idaho was the land of the very far right neo-cons. In fairness, I did hear "Hillary", "militia", "taking our guns" and the like just about everywhere we went. Heck, the day after the San Bernadino shootings, the local gun shop had something along the lines of an "Arise and Arm" poster on their front door. Two buildings down from the local paper. Son and daughter-in-law are currently fish out of water, for sure.
