Montgomery County 65 Lawrence County 62

So impressed with MC 5'10" point guard Caswell Fuller's play down the stretch. With about 5 to play he decided MC was not going to lose, hit a 3, a left handed drive over one of the Dalton brothers, a layup, a second left handed drive gave him two foul shots and then an assist on Walker's winning three. That's my memory and I'm sticking to it.

Have seen the kid twice this year and am likewise very impressed.

Another memory is that Montgomery never had the lead until very late maybe 2:00 left. Great win by one of 10th Regions top five, over #1 in 15th. On another note, this is same Montgomery Co. team that dominated Simon Kenton yesterday by a final 12 pts. only because JVs surrendered much of late 23 pt lead. If I am not mistaken SK is in top two of 8th. Mason still has to beat St. Henry to get to championship game tomorrow night against Montgomery. That game could clarify a lot in the 10th.

Hummmmmm! Simon Kenton beats Mason earlier in year by 25. Montgomery DOMINATES Simon Kenton by more than final 12 pt margin yesterday. Hummmmmm!

The Simon Kenton team that beat Mason is not the same one playing in the Murph tourney. They were on fire that night at home.

Just saying...we all know comparative scores can be very misleading. Post #12 would lead you to believe Montgomery should beat Mason by at least 37! If I believed an ounce of that, I would not make the drive to the Fieldhouse to see that beatdown. These old eyes watched 16 hours of basketball in the last two days and I can tell you...."don't miss this December matchup. I won't."

Two losses but both were double digits. They can score, hitting 80+ three times but defensively they have a way to go.
