Swear to you I have not heard of any of these. I think I should be concerned, but I'm not. I haven't expended my musical horizon since the early 80's.

Do yourself a favor and listen to a sampling of the first three. I've found that most anybody who takes the time to listen to them will end up liking them. You've definitely heard Ryan Adams' songs before, but he may not have been the one singing them at the time, as he's had a few of his tunes covered for hits by others. You've probably heard his cover of "Wonderwall," but just didn't know who it was.
