The Patriots were King , as of a few weeks ago , but injuries have really taken a toll. They are a hot mess right now. When they get well, they'll be the same old Patriots. But what about right now? After watching yesterday's games, the eye test seems to say the Bengals and Steelers are the best two AFC teams. Not sure which is the best of the best(I guess we will find out next week), but these seem to be the top two. Or do you see the Patriots as the best ? What about Denver? Any votes for them? How would you rank the top 5? Reid is doing a marvelous job with KC, btw.

I think the Steelers with healthy Ben are better than the Bengals. I think the Broncos and Patriots are better than the both of them. Bengals I won't rank over any of these teams minus the Steelers until they win a primetime game against a solid team

No, the Steeler D makes them down that list.

If you were going to make a list of those teams and what weaknesses they have, I would say the Bengals have the shortest list of weaknesses.

I would agree with that.

Please. LRCW uses jedi mind tricks to spurn the baseball gods. He does the same thing with the CATS. However, reality is that the Steelers run D is fairly solid, the pass D is porous.

Still, likely a very, very tough out come playoff time...

This.

Still, likely a very, very tough out come playoff time...

They gotta get there first. KC has a cakewalk schedule left so they're not giving up that spot.

It is all matchups. Without Bell, the Bengals can key on the run and not both teh pass and run from that position. The Steelers passing game is on par if not a little better than the Bengals. The difference in these two teams are the defenses. The Steelers Pass D is not championship worthy. They are everywhere else.

The Pats, if they don't get healthy, are below the other three, although I don't the KC is a cakewalk. The Broncos are going to find out soon if Osweiler can measure up. If they can run the ball yes he might. If he has to pass it nobody really knows. Three games is not enough to measure trends and prognosis.

Steelers just usually play the Bengals really really well and I think they will beat the Bengals 5-6 out of ten times.

Home field will be huge for the playoffs.

1. Cincinnati

2. NE

3. Pittsburgh

4. Denver

5. Everybody else is too close to differentiate.
