Anyone have any insight into either BGs or Souths programs to know if the 2 playing in the near future is a legitimate possibility or not?

As I've said in another thread, It could be possible that the team's switch the schedule in the Rafferty's Bowl. It would be BG vs. John Hardin and SW vs. Monroe. It's a long shot, but if all the coaches could agree on the schedule change and the change of contract, it MAY happen. Maybe we should start pushing for this... Could see the opening game BG vs. SW. Also, if both teams are up to it, they could drop whoever both teams have scheduled to scrimmage and scrimmage each other in preseason!

To be honest, I've gone back and forth on it many times during the year. These are just for fun, but it's not something I took lightly in posting! It is a real shame we didn't see the teams settle it on the field this year.

 

Next five years though, without the benefit of seeing how South Warren reloads this time around, I would have no problems with saying Bowling Green.

I have a hard time ranking NCC ahead of BW since it was not many weeks ago that BW bet NCC. If this is based on the finals performance alone then maybe NCC showed better because of the score and defensive play. But, BW was ahead up until the end of the 3rd against Pikeville then imploded. Many angles to look at. Could Mayfield and NCC have stopped Pugh? NCC's defense played well against Mayfield but BW hung 31 on them 5 weeks ago. Did they improve that much? Possibly.

I agree for the most part of this order except I don't believe Pikeville would beat Mayfield.

 

I really don't think they would either, however, I do think they played a better game in their championship then Mayfield did in there's. I also think Beechwood was a better team than NCC and while NCC played better in the state game than Beechwood did, the Tigers did beat them in the regular season handily and were a higher ranked team in everyone's poll over the Breds..

The only thing I've got is seeing how a team like JC stopped South's run game at points doesn't give me a great impression on how SW would run against BG. Also, I haven't been real big on the decisions of Ryder's passes. And you can't hve bad decisions against BG's secondary because it will cost you. I know this isn't real football, but I remember Ryder throwing 5+ INT's in a cut short 7 on 7 with BG in preseason.

 

But, with the way BG has started to struggle with their O, it would concern me that it'd be hard for us to score points as well.

 

If that's the case, it comes to the special teams department where both teams are pretty even as well..... Except we have Tre Fant lol

 

Does anyone have a field that can be painted up by the end of the week? I want to see this one bad!!
