Eagles 35 Patriots 28

Final.

Just ugly. Can't win when you give up 21 points to the defense and special teams.

Pats got up 14-0 and tried to get cute with an onside kick and it all snowballed from there.

That's as bad as I can ever remember seeing Brady look. First 3 quarters he couldn't hit anyone, well maybe a few Eagles DBs.

Guys that are healthy simply can't catch. 3 straight drops to end it. Inexcusable.

Defense wasn't too bad. So I guess that's one positive.

Man I hope Gronk is back next week.

Special teams lost this one. Just horrendous. Pretty unusual. They are a very different team without Gronk. I know, duh!

A loss was overdue. Going from memory here, but the Pats should've lost to the Bills on MNF, then played poorly last week, and were outmatched for 3+ quarters today. Still the team to beat in the AFC (in my opinion), but they're vulnerable...especially with so many injuries.

Well now that the Pats can't deflate the footballs in cold weather to make it easier to throw and catch it, they didn't look as good...

Ha jk sorry had to. The main reason is injuries are catching up to them and bad special teams play.

I said a few weeks ago the Pats have arguably the worst o-line AND receiving corps in the NFL. RB's are below average as well. They were winning based on how good Brady and Belichick are and with a good defense. Eventually talent wins out though. They need Gronk back in a BIG way.

When a team is all excited about getting Danny Amendola back, that tells you how desperate they are. Amendola would be the 4th receiver on the Bengals.

A few thoughts on this one: Pats go up two touchdowns and decide to get cute on the kickoff. Bad idea, poor coaching. Likely awoke and united the entire Eagles team. At that point you are dominating the game, why take a chance?

Just before halftime Pats could have run out the clock but choose to pass and it forces them to punt. Blocked punt and a new game again. Poor choice IMO, go in up a TD. Blocked punts are never expected, but can happen. Give Brady a 7 point lead going into the second half.

Poor in game decisions cost the Pats this one by getting Philly into it. After that things happened in a game that the Pats should have won by 7 to 14.

Oh???? Your Oline and your WRs suck and injuries are a problem? Welcome to my world, Thomas.

Their running game is fine. They just need to use it more often. Blount and (now) White are more than capable of being a very effective 1-2 punch.

The receiving core of Edelman, Amendola, and JoJo isn't elite, but it's definitely not even close to the league's worst. Have you seen what the Rams are running out there? Or the Browns? :lol2:

Sure would be nice if Tom and the gang would lose another one or two to help the Bengals.
