Adele 25

I absolutely love her. But it makes me sad that she's having the career Amy Winehouse should've had. Adele's amazing. Amy Winehouse was better.

I don't see what people see in "Hello" either. It doesn't pull me in like some of her other hits.

Most depressing song on the planet. I turn it off and then it's group hugs all around.

I haven't yet heard anything other than "Hello" from the new album.

When I first heard it, it didn't immediately do a whole lot for me, but my first thought was that thematically it was similar to "Someone Like You".

By the time she was on SNL, I might've only heard it twice, and fell asleep about 10 minutes before the show came on.

I woke again, but still half asleep wondering "Who is that singing so wonderfully?", and though I couldn't put my finger on it, the song resonated with me as if I had heard it a thousand times.

I suppose the two times that I had previously heard it was enough to get it stuck in my system even before I realized it was there.

Immediately after that I went on a binge of listening to it, and also many of the Youtube covers of it to see who else could nail it. Although I initially heard it subliminally on SNL it got stuck super big time into my head to the point I really started loving it.

After that I purposely quit listening to it to not ruin it for me from overexposure.

When we were young is my favorite on it.

It was just like a movie, it was just like a song......

Great track.

Here's a British kid named Conor Maynard doing a pretty good cover of "Hello".

Unexpectedly late in the song a rapper comes in adding his rhymes, and I initially thought that it wasn't necessary because Conor was already doing a real good job of giving the song some good emotion.

Conor ends the song as wonderfully as he began it.

With the rapper I went through 4 thoughts as he was doing his thing,

1. Not at all necessary.

2 Started laughing uncontrollably.

3. Then thought that he did actually nail the theme with what he was saying.

and then...

4. Back to thinking that it really wasn't necessary, and that it would've been just fine if he had done the entire song all by himself because Conor Maynard very much brought some great emotion to it.

Winehouse was truly amazing.

At the very least, when you're alone you are BELTING out "Hello from the other side..."

I don't care what anyone says "Hello" is on point. I blast it every time it's on.

100% did that on my way into work today.

Adele is one of those cases where popular = good!

She's coming to Nashville next year. If I bought the girlfriend and her girls tickets they'd kinda have to take me, right?

Youre fortunate to get tickets. They went on sale for the two Nashville shows at 10 am this morning and sold out in about 30 minutes. We called a little too late. I suppose the scalpers will do well with these events.

On a follow-up on my post, I saw on Fox News this morning where fans were very upset because scalpers bought up most of the tickets at the different venues when they went on sale yesterday. Some places sold out in 2 minutes. Then later in the day they put the tickets on Stub Hub and other similar sites for prices ranging between $7,000 to $48,000!!! The tickets face value are between $50 and $150.
