That's because he's trying to change his natural eastern Kentucky accent to sound like Rick Pitino or Billy Donavan. Kentuckians don't pronounce "tournament" as if it sounds like "tworn-a-ment" like I heard Pelfrey say it during an earlier game that he broadcast. New Yorkers pronounce it that way.
