Forgot Miamia (FL), South Carolina and ULM but didn't know any of the rest were open.

Thanks BNG

Twitter reporting that a buyout of The Mad Hatter "very likely". That's absurd. He will get a good gig. Also chatter that USCw about to an announce a huge hire. Chip Kelly?

Reports are VT is interested in Dan Mullens. I can't imagine Mullens would leave MSU for VT.

Not sure about that. Nick Saban and Alabama don't live in the ACC. That's a great gig, great recruiting base.

I would love to see Les Miles head out to Southern Cal, Chip Kelly head to the SEC somewhere (preferably LSU), Miami needs to get a big name guy, but they arent capable of doing such. It is such a dead end job. You are set up for failure there. Yes you have all the talent in the world, but without support from administration, you have nothing.

New administration.....May or may not work out but it's not the Shalala show any more.

I think the only way they get it turned around is bringing a guy back that was part of "The U" someone that can change the culture back to the way it was. Honestly, as much as I hated everything the U stood for, college football is better when the U is good. Florida has probably has the second best high school football talent outside of Texas, no reason all three of the big schools can't all be national title contenders.

Blame it on Shalala. Three HC hires made in her tenure, all three huge failures. Cheap hires too. She wanted to improve the academics of the U and improve it's image, which she did.

Miami cannot survive without being a little renegade. That could be schematically, or from a personnel standpoint.

Embrace the cocky past, have fun and be the U again.

A report says that Kirby Smart is the leader for the South Carolina job.

VT DC Bud Foster is in the running for the Illini job.

Tom Herman says no to South Carolina, he wants the Texas job.
