Games are won on the line of scrimmage, and Shelby dominated them 3 weeks ago on both, so unless they have got stronger and faster in 3 weeks this game will belong to Shelby, will it be closer I believe so, just think Shelby is better and Collins isnt very good. It is a rival so emotions play a big role, but Shelby is a better team, why the won a tough district

 

Don't think it has anything to do with Collins getting stronger faster but rather mad as heck. They have guys up front on both sides of the ball that can and has gotten the job done. They must turn up the intensity or go home. If they don't, it will be a long night. I think they can and can make a great ballgame out of it.

I have mentioned this in the past, but look at Collins offensive output against good teams. They haven't in the past and will be unable to score enough points to beat a good team and Shelby definitely classifies as a good team.

 

Next to Boyle, Shelby is the best team they have played. They have shown signs that they can put some numbers up. ? is, will some of the veteran players step up and play when they get hit or will they just quit.

No one mean enough to tackle Manica in my opinion, looked intimidated the first time, they better play or it will be ugly again. Just alot better team, in my opinion

Shelby is a great team. Best TEAM in years. This bunch is well coached and from what I can see, seems like a tight group of guys.

For Shelby to win again, they must score quick and hit hard. That is what they did last time and some of the Collins kids quit on Coach Lucas. I don't expect them to lay down and quit again.

Coach, you can't put 9 in the box on Shelby. They will destroy you in the outside. To stop them, you must try to over load the middle with 1 extra guy to slow down Manica and then outside guys must stay with the QB and pitchman till the whistle. You can't go for the fake or the man with the ball. Play man on the receivers and don't come up to quick.

Having those guys back makes a huge difference.

Collins must be more intense this game and knock get knocked back on their behinds.

Yes you can put 9 in the box. Frankfort played Shelby last two seasons and we kept 9 in the box.

On staff as JV coach but now OC. Could be more of the other guy leaving but the change was good IMO.

There is only one new face on the staff.. The OC was there last year along with the rest of the coaches!

With no injured players Collins is 4-0 Momtgomery County (7-0) Bullit East (55-14) Franklin County (23-0) and Valley (41-8) That's a combined score of

126-22. I know they weren't the best teams but it shows that they are a different team when everyone's healthy and the strongest part of this Titans team is the defense. with Stucker and Harrod out they looked to have no confidence and lay down. Those two boys just bring a toughness and fearlessness to that defense that wears off on the rest of the boys. This team is gonna shock everyone. Mark my words. Go Titans

Tommy how do you use the youth argument when most if not all of the Collins oline are seniors? Yes they have a sophomore QB and a Sophomore RB but I don't see using the youth argument maybe I am wrong but they are losing a lot of seniors who see considerable time.

Yes the lines are veterans and I really thought that they would really dominate this year. A lot of the skill are first year players and many of them are sophomores. When Harrod and company goes out, many freshman and sophomores are having to come in and play.
