Ben Carson on CNN discussing stupid Americans

Because he's not a good candidate or because he is black? (Not you but the Power Brokers)

Because he stinks as a candidate. I like to think that the vast majority of us have gotten past the race issue. I believe that they hate the notion of him carrying the Republican standard.

However, every Wednesday when I attend a local lodge meeting, I'm jerked back to reality.

Yeah, I'm hit with that reality several times a week. Unbelievable!

Just wanted to afford you the chance to put forth your line again. :)

Clarence(Long Dong Silver) Thomas has proved himself. Solomon Carson is working on proving the same.

No. Mr Thomas coined the phrase himself. Not surprising, you're just not educated on Mr Thomas. You may be too young to recall but Mr Dong was a serial harasser of women back in the day. Surely, you haven't forgotten about Thomas and his secretary Anita Hill.

Senate confirmation hearings had left Thomas a new, but disgraced, member of the court. In her testimony, Hill calmly told Senators how her then-boss Thomas exploited and harassed female workers. He told dirty jokes. He graphically described pornographic videos he had rented, including the now-famous “Long Dong Silver.” Perhaps inspired by “Long Dong”, he bragged about the size of his own penis. He begged for dates. He even accused Hill of leaving pubic hairs on his can of Coca-Cola. Nice guy.

I'm fully aware of Mr Thomas...thank you for your condescending response to me. Doesn't matter where the name came from...My point was, once again instead trying to constructively add to the discussion...you once again resort to name calling.

I apologize. I edited part of my response that I didn't want in there, just not quick enough. Just wanted to point out that Mr Thomas was the one who referred to himself as Mr Dong. It was his phrase, not mine. He probably won't mind.

Good question. Isn't Powell an Obama supporter?
