Now in the playoffs I don't trust him, but he will get the Nats to the playoffs easy. Dusty pitched Bailey over 200 innings in 2012 and 2013. How many starts has Bailey missed the last two seasons? Pitched Prior over 200 innings in 2003. Prior had arm issues the following year and was out of baseball two years after that. Pitched Bill Swift 232 innings in 1993 -- 60 more than his previous career high. Swift spent time on the shelf much of the five years after 1993 and never topped 144 innings in a season William VanLandingham pitched a career high 181 inning in 1996. Was out of baseball two years later Russ Ortiz topped 200 innings four of the five seasons Dusty had him. Topped 200 innings the season after Dusty left for the Cubs and never pitched more than 115 innings in a season after 2004. Dusty Baker is a like nighttime tornado. You don't see the damage until time passes.

They may make the playoffs but to do so they will have to be better than one of these teams: Mets, Cardinals, Cubs and Pirates...who will they "easily" be better than???
November 5, 201510 yr Funeral services for the arm of Stephen Strasburg will be held in September 2016 in Washington DC. Pallbearers will be Kerry Wood, Billy Swift, Mark Prior, William VanLandingham, Russ Ortiz, and Homer Bailey. Of course, they will all have to use their left arms. Very nice :lol2:
