November 2, 201510 yr Author It's amazing that the Mets made it this far with such a poor bullpen. Outside of Familia, they had very limited options.
November 2, 201510 yr If Duda makes a decent throw in the 9th, the Mets win tonight's game. Difference in this series...KC thrived under pressure, NY caved.
November 2, 201510 yr Author Colon with the go ahead RBI in his 1st plate appearance this postseason. His last RBI was 40+ days ago.
November 2, 201510 yr They kept going on about Hosmer's baserunning on that play in the ninth but I thought he almost blew it by being too hesitant and not getting as good a jump/lead as he should have. With Wright almost to second base by the time he threw it, Hosmer should have been further down the line IMO. If Duda makes a good throw and he is out, are people asking him why he didn't get a better jump on the play?
November 2, 201510 yr What a great series and so balky for KC as I have a lot of friends who live in KC. Funny, they were cursing me when Cueto was struggling and I just told them to relax, the ex Reds players would bring them a ring and sure enough Cueto and Colquez were key players. Let's not forget another former Red Johnny Gomes also. Congrats to the world champions.

November 2, 201510 yr Royals line up is a lot of fun to watch. They are aggressive but when they get 2 strikes they battle. Interesting how they built that team. They out moneyballed Billy Bean building that team.
November 2, 201510 yr Love emphasis on contact and small ball. The Royals were the epitome of my favorite way baseball should be played. Happy for the Royals, and thrilled for one of my favorite Reds, Johnny Cueto.

November 2, 201510 yr Gomes wasn't actually on the WS roster, but was still in dugout. Yea, but still part of the team. Love seeing these guys experience this.

November 2, 201510 yr Salvadore Perez named the MVP. Hard to pick just one guy on this team...everybody contributed.
