Relax. I'm simply saying that Scott County's 14 points against Dunbar deserves an asterisk because their best offensive player didn't play in the game. You can't say they held Scott County to 14 points and expect it to mean something without Keith Guy on the field. If they shut down Keith Guy then I'm impressed. Regardless of what team it is when you play without your best offensive player then your offense will not be the same. Am I wrong?

Couldn't tell you. I'm at work tonight. I never said Dunbar's defense wasn't good and it may be the best defense Boyle has faced all year. All I am saying is that I think Scott County would have fared better against Dunbar than Boyle County did against Dunbar had they had Keith Guy. Scott County's offense is way better than Boyle County's.

Can someone please tell me why Boyle County squib kicks the ball every time instead of kicking it deep. If you're going to squib kick the ball, at least have the kicker step back the usual 10 yards before approaching the ball so the other team doesn't know for sure that a squib kick is coming.

Special teams is not that great on coverage, at least over the years it hasn't been. Sometimes against teams like Catholic with speedsters they'll kick it short to keep it away from them. The concept I agree with for less talented teams but you can't give teams with talent the ball at close to midfield on every drive. That part I don't agree with.

If PLD could throw the ball, they would be tough to stop. Passing was 1 of 10 for 4 yards wont get it done.

 

Boyle's offense is null and void right now. Cant run block and passing is completely out of sync. Bad passes, dropped passes, and interceptions.

 

Not sure who Boyle is playing yet in 1st round, but the Rebels have 7 days to get the mojo back.

Waggener is better than their seed... this team is a borderline time Top 10 team since they got those three transfers

I think to Smith's First Two State Titles in the the Old 2A and when you compare playoff paths to this 3A it is not even remotely close.

 

 

3 games against Top 25 teams in the State and then a neutral site game against a 4th potentially.

A state title for this team would be the greatest accomplishment in Boyle County football history.
