Fortuitous start for Belfry as JC basically spots them the early lead

Skaggs return to 25, 1st and 10 JC

Belfry will win this game big time. Dont really know why Matney is playing Blanton at QB and not playing most of his starters.

Call it 26

FB Sloan for 3, 2nd and 7

2nd man thru Gound for 4, 3rd and 3

Dive and Horton destroys the play for a loss, 4th Down and 5

Pack shanks the punt and Catron returns it to Eagle 36

Catron sweep and after breaking a tackle gains one or two, 2nd and 8

Corbett to Catron, 35 yard Touchdown Pass Belfry

Shocking start

Belfry 20

JC 0

I know its a rivalry game, but it essentially means nothing. I think he has his sights set on bigger things.

Varney drills returner and balls come out but ruled down...JC would have recovered anyway

Dive Ratliff for 5 or 6 to 27, 2nd and 4

Wellman and Horton stuff Scaggs for no gain, 3rd and 4

Blanton to pass,, Horton pressures immediately and Blanton eludes... should have 1st Down

I think this a trend we will see statewide tonight. I wonder how many people will doubt JC after seeing the final score tonight. There's bound to be some who have no clue about the circumstances. :lol2:

Sweep for 4 to 35, Ratliff on carry, 2nd and 6

FB Sloan for 2, 3rd and 4

Ratliff stuffed for no gain, 4th and 4

Your absolutely right, but if you get drilled like they are now you can go into the playoffs mentally shaken. Belfry is really big and good. They are taking it to JC right now.
