Hunter to 34, 3rd and Long

Hunter nice run to 45, 1st and 10

Hunter for 3

5:00 or so on running clock

41-0 Belfry

I don't get it. Why schedule a tough opponent the last week if you don't want to play?

Who knows what Matney is thinking. Like @ATLCat said, perhaps he is taking a page from Haywood and humbling his team before a playoff push. Like I stated in previous posts, I dont think it would have mattered tonight though as Belfry came to play.

JC will be OK. Tonight belongs to Belfry! Hats off to them for a well played game.

Hunter tries to reverse field and smothered for loss

All you can legitimately take out of tonight IMHO:

Belfry is really good

JC will be a different team in a few weeks

Ray Horton is a MONSTER

Belfry's X Willis has turned into one of the most dangerous backs in 3A

Matney goes deep and Hunter breaks it up

Blanton to pass and caught on sideline by Gound, 3rd and 1

FINAL

Belfry 41

JC 0

Shocker!!
