Shock in one sense... but JC is basically flipping the script on some of the past Belfry losses in the season finale. Belfry has taken it on the chin resting starters and playing it close to the vest...tonight JC is the one keeping it in hand to avoid key injury

 

People will read into this score more than they should..this is not the JC team you will see in two weeks.... but at the same time Belfry has completely dominated a talented crew in all facets

Best kept secret in the State (if you can call him a secret)... when he brings his A Game he is possibly the best Defender in Kentucky

Belfry will win this game big time. Dont really know why Matney is playing Blanton at QB and not playing most of his starters.

 

Cant answer.. but I have always suspected Haywood has kind of liked seeing his team get humbled entering the playoffs (especially when he knows the first two rounds will be lopsided). Might be seeing Matney borrow that philosophy.

Very well said. Belfry is taking it to JC and perhaps Matney is taking a page from Belfry's book to get his kids focused. Hopefully both of these teams bring home state titles!!
