Who will play their last game Friday night?

I think Warren East played their last game of the season last week. They did not have any OPEN weeks during the season. They finish the year at 1-9 beating on Barren County. Rough year for first year Coach Justin Chaffin. Better luck next year! They have a good RB in Willie Reynolds and a good young QB I'm told as well, but a very tough district.

North Oldham is a team that didn't make the playoffs

LaRue County (and first-year coach Tony Hatmaker, the former EKU defensive coordinator).

Clinton Co, McCreary Central and Phelps all 3 are not placed in a district and will end their seasons this weekend.

For what purpose?

To play. Obviously. They could use the work

Kentucky could get all the teams in the playoffs - and give low performing teams teams a chance for a post season win if they would do the unthinkable - go (back) to four classes with eight sections and go to 6 weeks of playoff.

 

If you are going to put most teams in the playoff you should put them all in.

 

I believe football is the onlky sport that does not take all teams into the post season.

 

Some of the teams listed above did not make the playoffs last year and few probably the year before.
