Mark Vass is an old Fighting Tiger though so Im guessing all would be forgotten in terms of just having coached elsewhere as a young coach.

 

Now as far as the current chaos.... if Lutz still has an interest I doubt you would find ANY Ironton player/supporter dare apply

I totally agree and I do look for him back. It was all a matter of give'n the athletic director a smack on the hands.

I thought that name was from the past - thanx. Was he a receiver?

 

I figured maybe whats happening is a couple cliques forming over there behind certain candidates IF they can't run Parker out and get Lutz et al back. Did all the FB guys walk in terms of coaching?

I would hope that you would know....Mark was a Junior "QB" when we beat the Tigers in 1990.... Mark Vass was in the same recuriting class as Chris Hutt to Marshall. I've never coached with either of these men, and as far as know Hutt wants nothing to do with football and Vass wants to be a Head Coach at some time in the future....Lets see..

Triplett was hired as head football coach to replace Lutz.

 

Parker resigned as AD, but will serve as assitant football coach.

Sounds to me like the Ironton players have good character and the coachs the same which equals a great football team.
