Does anyone know why Linnae Harper is leaving UK? This will be a hugh blow to Matthew Mitchell team this year. Tough blow.

Not much was revealed in the newspaper article in the Herald-Leader today. Basically said she was not with the UK team over the summer due to playing on the Pan Am team. Mitchell was quoted in an earlier interview that she was behind in where they wanted her to be and the style that UK played compared to the Pan Am team, but that she was making it up by early morning practices and would be ready by the start of the season.

She was quoted saying leaving UK was a very hard decision for her.

At one point, the highest ranked player to ever sign with UK WBB. Sad to see her go. Shots were going to be scarce as Epps isn't shy about getting hers.

I'd feel much better about the program if we knew the real reason. Is the pressure getting to Mitchell and he's pushing too hard or is he too soft and the kids are getting into off the court issues forcing them to leave?
