Pulaski County proved there would be no repeat of the Southwestern game of 2014. Are the Maroons ready for the Purples? Is Fern Creek capable of shocking the state and defeating the defending State Champions? Is anyone thinking Highlands may be a better Class 5A team then many had hoped? Who else should be in the discussion?

If BG is to win 5A this year, they will have to beat #5, #4, #3, and #2 in that order to earn the championship. If they do that, no one can say they didn't earn it!

Coming out of the West and having enough left in the tank for the championship is a tough task. Graves Co. just seemed to run out of gas at the end last year. If BG does that they will have definitely earned it.

I think this is a two horse race between Pulaski and BG, but that's why they play the games. BG has a more difficult path imo

Non throwing shoulder injury I've heard sprain/strain and I've heard separation...not sure what the exact injury is.

That seems like a pretty big difference in sprain to separation. I hate injuries and hope he is able to get back on the field soon!:thumb:

AC sprain. Doubtful for Friday. May even rest him 1st round of playoffs. Gregory is being evaluated this week in practice after the stinger/ pinched nerve. He's more likely to play than Hall. Both should be back in plenty of time for games that really count
