Congratulations to Stephanie Szovati and Kelsey Riley from Campbell County; and Alyson Schultz, Amanda Graus and Olivia Nienaber from Brossart for the All Tournament Team.

So, will the Brossart NDA game be played at CCHS?

Don't know and haven't heard anything about location yet. Two years ago, when we hosted the first round, it was played at NKU.

Great title win for the Lady Stangs! The game was officiated well and was physical at times but it never got out of hand. Both teams were exhausted and it was a battle between what team wanted it more. IMO, the Camels could've subbed more to give themselves a better chance. Several Camels sat the bench the whole game and could've spelled a couple teammates at critical times. Brossart didn't have the same luxury for subs and still managed to capitalize. Schultz blew by the Camels D and couldn't be caught. The Camels' keeper couldn't handle her as she netted the game winner.

How often do teams lose their District title game, then get a rematch in the Region final, and win? Pretty big win for Mustangs. Awfully quiet in Camel Land.

yes, especially since they were tied 1-1 on the season going into the match and it was mathematically impossible for anyone to get a 3rd win this season. Camel math!

The game will be played at 7pm Tuesday night at Tower Park in Fort Thomas.

 

Due to the change of venue there will be no live broadcast.
