Congrats to Coach Mullins and the GC Football Program for going 5-5 this season. This is the best regular season record since going 5-5 in 2010.

GC will travel to Harrison County in 2 weeks to take on the Breds.

 

This will be a rematch from the 2007 Regional Championship game that the Breds won 31-30.

Greenup would be a really good football team if they had any offense to speak of. They will be a tough 3 seed for somebody in the playoffs.

Very true. They have an outstanding defense that seems to get left on the field too long and wore down. They are closer to making a serious playoff run than many might think, just need to fix the offense.

Greenup needs to go back to rolling the bone at teams, solves the time problem and personally I think they are more affective out of it.

I prefer the spread but you have to know your personnel... At the high school level its hard to have an efficient pass game. If they were running the read option and still spreading the field but using a te as a lead blocker they could be effective. Im not questioning mullins ability to coach bc I do think highly of him but Greenup does need to stick to running the ball. Gotta at least be able to hit on digs, slants hitches and screens to be able to run the spread
