June 14, 200620 yr I agree that this should be the Cat's return to bowl eligiblity. I am pretty sure I said that a while back too. With the schedule looking more friendly (and that is not a put down it is exactly what a building team in the SEC has to have) and the development of the talent Brooks and Phillips has brought in with decent recruiting classes, I really think the Cats have a shot. That said I don't think that they are going to be bringing down many of the powers that be on the schedule as most the toughest games are also away games but they should control their own destiny and beat Vandy, Ole Miss, Miss State, Texas State, Central Michigan, and Louisiana-Monroe. I mean that barring injury, I think the Cats will be bowling. Ram, you and I have not seen eye to eye on many things but I do agree with your statement about the Cats OOC schedule is what it needs to be right now. I do not agree with keeping that weak of a OOC schedule all the time but a team / players have to believe that they can win to gain the confidence for other games that are on the schedule. They have enough tough games within the SEC to make up for those weaker ones right now.

It's not that I can't see UK winning 6 games... it's that I can't see 6 teams losing to them. But here's to hoping :thumb: And I agree, a healthy Burton, Little, and ALL players will be very key. December 3, 200619 yr Author While I like the optimism, I cannot get myself to agree. However, if I am wrong, I will GLADLY eat all the crow you can serve up for me. Boiled, baked, broiled, blackened, deep fried, etc.. If the Cats go bowling, I will eat that crow however you choose to cook it. Let's see....since you were so optimistic, I think it will be best served raw.
