Heard that this game is being played tonight at Putnam Stadium. Always a good game for the freshman. Anyone know about these two team. I've seen the young Cats play a couple of times, but don't know much about the Red Devils. Any thoughts/predictions?

What is Ashland's record? Russell? A saw a picture of Ashland's captains on Facebook last night. It looks like they have some pretty good sized freshman.

I'm not sure about records, but Russell's having its worst Freshman season in years. Their QB is a good athlete and he's got a big target(#95) to throw the ball to. Not sure about the backfield. Trey Belcher(#62) is a good two way lineman.

I read somewhere on this site earlier in the season that Ashland barely had enough kids come out for Freshman ball. Has anything changed since then?

Both teams beat Raceland and lost to Greenup Co. I don't know if that says more about Russell and Ashland or Greenup. Maybe things are looking up in Lloyd.

Does Dicky and his crew do the game on 97.1?

The Kiwanis Bowl is usually on the radio. I think Ashland has a good running back, last name Robinson. His sisters are the basketball players...I have not seen a freshman game this year.

The games I've been to, Ashland has a good running back (Robinson). He really excels in the open field with good speed. They have a good linebacker #33 (Edmonson) I think. He seems to really get after it. Their qb is big and has a good arm (Adkins). He made some good decisions throwing when I saw them. I was told that they are 3-3.

It looks like they have some pretty good sized freshman.

It seems like kids are getting bigger these days. The middle school teams have some huge kids too.

I know. The Maruci (sp?) sorry :( and Bennett kids are large.

Russell 14

Ashland 7

I've heard the Robinson kid is good as well. Two basketball D1 older sisters (well one is a future D1 IMO) the kids must have received good genes

What time is this one?

7pm GO TOMCATS!!!!

GO DEVILS!!!
