Top player in state

Featured Replies

Kaylee Tow(AL), Mallory Peyton(UK), & Bailey Curry(Toledo) should be added to that list all are JR's.

Where do they go to school?

I'm pretty sure Bailey Curry (Anderson County) set the state record for home runs in a season this past year. Is that correct? She can play.

Rachel Ayer, Meade County, senior infielder. Already headed to Bellarmine, but Bellarmine has a nice pipeline from Meade (Scarlett Powers). Ayer had D-I looks. Ayer has a shot at the state's career homer record (before Curry changes it). So Ayer could BRIEFLY hold it.

Elizabethtown's Taylor Thomas already verballed to Tennesse Tech before her junior year. Might change. Another power hitter.

They're at least in the conversation.

Curry, Graybill, Tow are fantastic players. All worthy as well.

Not trying to slight them.

Have not seen Curry play, but heard she mashes it!

Is Ayer the SS for Meade? Or played it some last year.

I don't think you could slight Graybill if you tried

I know. Just didn't want people thinking I was ignoring other players.

Not doing that in the least.

Heard Graybill is considered one if the top 10 hitters in the nation, per a hitting coach for major D-1 Schools. :)

Don't forget a certain pitcher who can also blast the ball out. Heather Webb.

Thanks meatpuppy but that pitcher took her talent to Toledo. She had a pretty good fall. Looks to get lot of innings in the circle as well as AB.

Mallory Peyton & Kaylee Tow are from Madisonville North Hopkins.

One of Graybill's future teammates at Louisville, Caitlin Ferguson from Woodford, is a heck of a player too.

Personally, I'd go with Kaylee Tow.

What position does Tow play ? She must be tough to get a verbal to Alabama at her early age .

CF. She can do it all - tall, athletic, good defense/arm, can run/bunt and hit for power. Montana Fouts, a 2018, is also verballed to Alabama. Two KY kids who will be playing at Alabama - pretty cool.

It seems like KY is starting to get some exposure as an increasing number of athletes are and will be playing at mid-major and above D1 schools. The last few years KY travel teams have done well at nationals at the 14/16U level. We're going to see a bunch of talent playing D1.

I would put the left side infield for Scott County up against any out there. And, they are just a sophomore and a junior. Both committed to D1 schools.

Any names? And who do they play summer ball for?

what d1 school did they commit to ?
