Both nice players.

Kaylee Tow(AL), Mallory Peyton(UK), & Bailey Curry(Toledo) should be added to that list all are JR's.

Never seen either girl play, but from following your post these two are more than worthy of consideration.

Halie Fain is Scott County's 3B. Plays for Louisville Stunners 99. Committed to UT-Martin.

well you might could check out Kacie Russell from Harlan county high school, she is just a sophomore but very powerful young lady.i know you cant sign her yet but give her a look.some of her stats Ba..491,hits 56,RBI 40,HR 3 ,OBP .553 and 22 doubles I think that was top in the state. she is the starting 1b and pitches also .Harlan county was 27-8 she lead her team in offense.

CF. She can do it all - tall, athletic, good defense/arm, can run/bunt and hit for power. Montana Fouts, a 2018, is also verballed to Alabama. Two KY kids who will be playing at Alabama - pretty cool.

It seems like KY is starting to get some exposure as an increasing number of athletes are and will be playing at mid-major and above D1 schools. The last few years KY travel teams have done well at nationals at the 14/16U level. We're going to see a bunch of talent playing D1.

Any list without Fouts is incomplete. Major SEC prospect.

P Hamm signed with D1 Bowling Green .

I did read this somewhere Woodford County infield as follows:

1B / Pitcher CK Cario D-1 Middle Tenneessee 2B Linsney Anderson D-1 Morehead State SS D-1 Kaitlin Fergerson UL 3B D-1 Ariel Dailey La Tech P D-1 Bethany Todd UK

LF CCU NAIA Morgan Grosse

All the players mentioned are certainly well deserving! However, my vote goes to Mallory Peyton of Madisonvile North Hopkins!

Not only did she PITCH her team to a victory against the top ranked team in the state, McCracken County, last week, BUT she also came through with the walk-off game winning hit in the bottom of the 7th inning!

Is there a better offensive or defensive, player who also pitches as well anywhere in Kentucky! I certainly can't think of a player who has all the tools this kid does!

UK and Coach Lawson have to be THRILLED with locking up this talented young lady!

Agreed that Mallory Peyton is the real deal for sure, but my vote would have to go with Kaylee Tow!

If anyone hadn't noticed or missed it, she is on the list for USA Today HSS as an All USA player for high school softball preseason and not to mention the kid was listed on the ASA/USA sight for the Junior National Team Softball Invited list! I'm not sure there has ever been a high school softball player from Kentucky with that resume!

I've seen her play and she's a stud!

I heard she had her choice of schools especially SEC caliber programs and she chose Alabama! She should be fun to watch in the future!

Agreed Kaylee is also the real deal! How about co-top players?

My thinking was Mallory has been called upon to also pitch as the number 1 this year with the loss of Heather Webb! And, really she could play every position on the field including pitcher for her team!

Those two would be hard to top! Looking forward to watching them both play in the SEC!
