Did Curley get drafted? I know there was some talk that it was expected that he might.

 

I can answer that one since no one else has, no.

The only way you can win a State Championship and "rings" is by getting there. That part has been accomplished, join me some time next weekend for "the rest of the story."

 

I won't hold my breath on that story, but good luck to the Tigers next week. They'll need it with the teams in the road ahead.

Hey Beechwood fans I have a question for you all. I didn't have a gun on either of them, but it appeared that Moore throws harder then Curley. Is that accurate? I know Curley only threw a little the first time they played Harrison, but he appeared to be faster then than he was in June. Has he had any arm problems? As far as the state goes, I like the depth of your staff, but the bracket you are in will be very tough to advance from. Lex Catholic has to be smiling. Should be a good tournament as always and the atmosphere at Applebee's Park is second to none. Good luck to your Tigers.

 

IMO, Moore's the better pitcher while Curley's the harder thrower. I think the reason Moore looks like he's throwing harder is because he has better off speed stuff than Curley.
