Regardless the Refs didn't hand this game to the Breds. Watch the play again on Hudl it's play 135. NewCath player was hit by BH player which knocked him into the ball. NCC player was not trying to block the HC player as was stated earlier.

Had this play happened at , say, the 30 and it was the official's opinion that Smith was knocked into the ball the touching would be ignored.

Correct.

Regardless the Refs didn't hand this game to the Breds. Watch the play again on Hudl it's play 135. NewCath player was hit by HC player which knocked him into the ball, which went into the EZ. NCC player was not trying to block the HC player as was stated earlier.

My information about Smith blocking the HC player is second hand. I have not seen the play myself.

It actually looks as though Smith for NCC had his back turned away from the HC player when he was hit. That's why I wondered why there wasn't a flag on the play.

The HC Hudl video is not up yet.

Nice showing by HC. Will be interesting to see a rematch.

Smith 31 carries 208 yards 2 tds.

I watched it in NCC's Hudl.

I figured you did. I do not, of course, have access to NCC Hudl.

NC had 11 penalties in just the 2nd half.

NC had 11 penalties in just the 2nd half.

That's a ridiculous amount. Lloyd won't let the Breds get away with that. I hate to say it but if they don't get the penalties under control they'll not beat lloyd.

Same players with same uncalled for penalties. Lack of discipline or lack of character?

NC had 11 penalties in just the 2nd half.

Clyde, I had 11 total penalties for NCC for 90 yards. 3 in the first half, 8 in the second half. HC has 5 for 40 yards.

Gotcha. I was going off if a quote by the NC coach.

Time for me to man up. Talked to my source and he told me that it was the right call. Touchback. Great game. NCC better get better disciplined and stop the penalties. I won't see either team, more than likely, for the rest of the year. Best of luck to both. Gotta go with the underdogs and cheer for the Indians. Go Tribe.
