October 14, 201510 yr Neil Young is in twice. Rick James should be. That's all I've got. I remember Neil Young talking about them on Howard Stern last year. Never would have imagined the two of them in the same band. The others were Bruce Palmer, who's a rock HOF member with Buffalo Springfield, as well as Goldy McJohn and Nick St. Nicholas, both of whom were in the horribly overrated band Steppenwolf.

Balin joined Jefferson Starship in 1975 and contributed to several hit songs (including "Miracles" (#3), "With Your Love" (#12), "Count on Me" (#8), and "Runaway" (#12). In 1978, Balin left the group. I never knew that Balin didn't officially join them til '75. I remembered his haunting vocals on "Caroline." But he was technically a hired gun in that album. Loved Balin's voice. Saw them in the "Earth" Tour in '77. First concert I ever went to.

November 19, 201510 yr I am a well-known 80's rocker with multiple platinum albums to my credit, however....did you know a song off my debut album is the most sampled song in Hip-Hop history, having been sampled over 230 times by such artist as Run-D.M.C, Big Daddy Kane, Jay-Z, Dizzee Rascal, U.T.F.O and Alicia Keys...just to name a few. Who am I??????? I won't say who because I just cheated and looked it up, so I'll give others a chance to give it a guess, but I'm sure glad that he's still cashing in considering that he faded so fast, and just wish that his solo career had lasted longer. It's nuts that he had so many hits in a such a short period of time just to pretty much disappear in a flash. He also had a knack for performing and bringing fun rockin' excitement to the stage. He really was one of a kind and created his own distinctive style that was unmistakingly all his own. When you hear one of his tunes you immediately know that it's him, and the hits still sound fresh.

Who am I??????? Your definition of "well-known '80s rocker" and B-Ball Fan's produces two very different images in my head. I'm going to say David Lee Roth just to try and hit it in the middle.
