Dixie has beat HHS 8 times. Not sure of years but that many victories tells me other coaches may have beat them.

Dixie has struggled somewhat offensively so field position will be critical in this game. HHS has the advantage by not needing as long of drives to put points on the board via "the foot. "

I know for a fact that some Head Coaches read this site. Now if they lost or not I don't know. I do know many Asst coaches post on here.

Yes. FYI Ryle has 0 state titles.

 

Ryle was a 4A school from 2000-2006 and 6A ever since then. FYI Highlands would have far fewer state titles if they had been playing in the same 4A/6A class all of those years.

When Beechwood won all of those titles a few years ago, should we say that they would not have won this class? You are in the class that you are in and that is the level at which you play. The fact is that Highlands has 23 state titles in the various classes in which they have played and it really does not matter if they would have won in the largest class of Kentucky, the state of Ohio, the state of wherever. They did win where they were placed.

The only reason I pointed that out was because Birdman was digging on Ryle for not having any state titles. He's trying to compare state titles, so I was comparing competition to achieve state titles.

Ryle: 1688 (878) boys

Highlands: 888 (462) boys

Beechwood: 589 (283) boys

 

For this thread....Dixie: 1414 (750) boys

 

Imagine a Fort Thomas Junior Football League with double the amount to choose from....8 teams per league feeder system...

 

I think they would do okay in a higher class going through "the system"
