These are decent 1A teams, but I feel their ceiling is right here.

How about Williamsburg in there. Yes they may have 1 win but let those teams play there schedule and see how they would fair.

That loss to Middlesboro was a blow to their case. They get Williamsburg in two weeks. Win that one, and I think they will almost surely get into the top 15.

KCD and Holy Cross get to square off next week and settle part of the argument. It's a bigger game for KCD than HC IMHO. KCD played Adair Co tough for a half(were up 19-12 with a minute left in the 1st half when a kickoff coverage meltdown changed the entire momentum of the game) then folded up the tent in the second half. This is a "get the ship righted" kind of test for them especially as HC has had their number as of late.

 

KCD benefits from a Trinity sophmore transfer Jordan West who was at practice this week and figures to be another cog in the Sophmore class that dominates this squad. This year's tussle is at HC, but KCD played it's best complete game on the road, taking it to Bethlehem in Bardstown.
