beechwoods running game is nothing like Scott's. I think this game holy cross defense will come back strong.

Beg to differ. And you can't just play the run or Fieger will kill you. In the stats from last week a BW RB was already to 500 yds. They are very well balanced. Teams not named Cov Cath have sold out to one and got killed by the other.

Agree BW wins, maybe not by as big a margin as in years past, but I'll go by at least 17.

Spoke to a white cap official today and any band can play at anytime they want. There is no rule against it. Maybe CCH will now strike up the band when Highlands visits Park Hills. This game however is BW's. O &D lines are better then anyone gives them credit for. Their running game will be back on track. BW by 3 TD's

Beechwood will get back on track. Lessons learned. 42-14

Can someone that has seen both teams play explain to me why BW is 3+ TD favorite? Can BW stop HC from running the ball up and down the field? Does BW have enough athletes to stop the run and the pass?

I think most would say you should be asking the opposite question. How will HC stop Beechwood and not have to play from behind? Holy Cross was one of the worst defensive teams last year and have improved but by how much? Maybe HC scores plenty but losing 42-28 is the same as losing 35-21 or 28-14. The key to HC winning this game or District games lies in their defense.

Have you seen both teams play? Why do you think it will be a close game?

I think Beechwood is better than Scott. Why will the game be closer than the Scott game?

BW by alot running clock 2nd half

Last year Beechwood won 58-0. Beechwood is not as good and Holy Cross is better, but 58 points is a lot to make up in one year. Two thirds of the players on both teams were a part of that game last year.

I agree with your HC statements but have you seen HC play this year? What match up advantages does BW have over HC?

What have you seen this year that says BW is better than Scott? I've watched BW on film and HC has the advantage in regards to skill players.

Barnes, Williams, Finnel didn't play in that game last year and Abernathy played hurt. So with the 3 new skill players HC has a chance against anyone they play this year.

^ Well today is game day and they can prove it in 15 hours.

It always comes down to line play. Beechwood had more, better skill players than CCH last week, and they lost by 3 TD's. I believe Beechwood has enough skill players to match up there. Does Holy Cross have the line play? I think Holy Cross will score some points and their skill players might make a couple big plays. I don't think they can do enough to outscore Beechwood. As Bac said, we find out tonight.

HC is way better than they were the last 2years. Beechwood isn't as good as they have been the last couple of years. Saying that, it won't be 58-0 again, but Beechwood will still win this game by 3-4TDs. HC has some nice skill players, but they will not stop Beechwood's offense and the line play for Beechwood is way better. Even though HC has a former NFL offensive lineman as a head coach, he doesn't coach the O or D Lines for some reason. Beechwood has a former NFL lineman coaching theirs. BIG advantage Beechwood
